About
My name is Adri Richey
I’m a Portland-based photographer specializing in pet photography, portraits, and product photography for brands and individuals who want images that feel authentic and thoughtfully crafted.
I was born in Monterrey, Mexico, and spent many years building my creative career in Houston, Texas before relocating to Portland, Oregon. Working in two vibrant creative communities has shaped the way I approach storytelling, blending documentary-style moments with intentional visual design.
I’m a visual storyteller at heart. Whether I’m behind the camera capturing personality-driven portraits, photographing products for a brand, or creating content that supports a larger marketing strategy, my goal is always the same: create images that feel honest and memorable.
Over the years my work has expanded beyond photography into creative direction, video production, and digital content strategy. I’ve collaborated with breweries, small businesses, and organizations to create visuals that don’t just look good, but help people connect with a brand.
At home, my creative chaos is supported by my incredibly patient husband who fully embraces my endless ideas. Together we have a son named Wally and a daughter named Abbie. They are both dogs and very committed to their roles as studio assistants.
Most days I prefer being behind the scenes, where I can observe, create, and build the story. But every once in a while I end up photobombing a frame or two. I guess that’s what happens when you love being part of the story as much as you love telling it.
